Now there's another example as US Weekly has reported another fake Palin story from a parody website:
Us Weekly’s website published a story Wednesday referencing Sarah Palin quotes that turned out to be false, reports GossipCop.Why does this keep happening? Very simply, the left has become so fully engaged in the Palin mythology they've created that all of these stories sound completely plausible to them. They're "too good to check". If you believe Palin is an idiot then you'll believe she's capable of saying just about anything.
The article has since been deleted from Us Weekly’s website, but the celebrity gossip magazine wrote up a piece claiming former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin blasted pop star Christina Aguilera for botching “The Star Spangled Banner” at the Super Bowl. Us Weekly also said Palin made racially charged and eyebrow-raising comments during her appearance on Sean Hannity’s radio show, but as it turns out, Palin never said such things in the first place.
Us Weekly cited Palin’s false quotes from parody website SuperTuesdayNews.
The original Us Weekly article included fake quotes from the former vice presidential candidate, supposedly calling Aguilera an “airhead diva” and adding that the singer “doesn’t understand something so basic about America.”
It's Palin Derangement Syndrome in full display.
UPDATE: Time Magazine fell for the fake Palin story too.

Don't forget there are those citizens/voters who read the stories and believe and spread them, regardless of how outlandish they are. I don't put it past the left to publish the ridiculous just to add 'talking points' to their arguments!
Those lefties...they can believe the unblievable, and they don't believe the believable.
