From Speaker John Boehner:

“Over the last two years since President Obama has taken office, the federal government has added 200,000 new federal jobs,” Boehner said. “And if some of those jobs are lost in this, so be it. We’re broke. It’s time for us to get serious about how we’re spending the nation’s money.”

The press and Democrats will not do their best to demonize the GOP for demanding reductions in the size of government, but it's time for the grown-ups to take over. Unfortunately, a surprising number of voters are tremendously stupid and will be sucked in to the propaganda the Dems and press will be spinning.  The GOP may have a limited time to make some serious budget changes...but it has to be done.
