This should be fun:

The House Democratic Caucus New Media Working Group (try saying that three times fast) is hosting a Twitter town hall at noon (ET) today.

More than a dozen lawmakers, including Reps. Mike Honda (Calif.), John Larson (Conn.) and John Garamendi, (Calif.) will be fielding questions about the budget and the GOP spending bill on the social messaging site. Questions can be submitted via Twitter using the hashtag “#AskDems.”

If you have questions for the Democrats, get on Twitter and fire away using the #AskDems hashtag. Here are some possible questions:

• Do you approve of lawmakers fleeing their states to shut down the legislature? #AskDems
• Do you think Obama should do something about increasing our domestic oil supplies so we can stop the escalating oil prices? #AskDems
• Is it really possible to tax our way to prosperity? #AskDems
