Battle L.A.

My son and I went to see Battle L.A. the other afternoon, and we both enjoyed it. Sure, it's unrealistic and bears a lot of similarities to movies like Independence Day, but the 2 hours went by pretty quickly and we had a good time. Unlike many war movies that have come out of Hollywood in the past few years, this one isn't anti-military or anti-American. Without question the good guys are the Marines and their dedication to protecting America is unquestioned.

Rather than write a lengthy review, I'll just cheat and point you to Ace and his review. We're on the same wavelength regarding this movie.

Go see it. You could certainly spend your movie money in worse ways.

Saw it today with my son. Walked out of the movie (which featured missile strikes that took out the invader's air command), got in the car, turned on the radio, and heard the press conference about the US missile strikes against the air defenses in Libya. Very weird.
