Republicans hold a nine-point lead over Democrats on the Generic Congressional Ballot for the week ending March 13, 2011.We already know that Obama is willing to sacrifice congressmen to get his policies, so those numbers probably don't bother him.
New Rasmussen Reports telephone polling finds that 46% of Likely U.S. Voters nationwide say they would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate, while 37% would choose the Democrat instead. The gap is three points larger than it has been for the past two weeks.
But these do:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 20% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -22. That is the president’s lowest rating since September (see trends).Obama is facing his own tsunami. Expect lots of demagoguery and promises of rainbows and unicorns once again as he shifts to full campaign mode.
Personally, I can't believe that Hillary Clinton hasn't started a campaign to challenge him. She could win, and based on the GOP field I've seen so far, she could win it all.

Logic has always stated that "when you find yourself in a hole, stop digging".
Well, it appears these folks don't know when to stop, so the more they dig, the better for her when she decides to run.
