Why Gov. Scott Walker Shouldn't Care What Anybody Thinks

Much is being made in the press about the polls showing Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's popularity slipping.  One even suggests that if the election was held today he would have lost to his 2010 opponent.  This is used as a justification by the press to suggest that Walker and the Republicans shouldn't stand firm on their positions.

Guess what?  The election isn't today.

Gov. Walker will not face the voters again until 2014.  That's a lifetime in political terms and should he succeed in turning the fiscal fortunes (or debts) of Wisconsin around, the voters will reward his efforts.

Stand tough, Gov. Walker.  They can't touch you.
