There Was Some Value in the Budget Debate

Americans now know a lot more about the Democrats and Planned Parenthood than they did before all the hub-bub. Here are some of the things they learned:

• Planned Parenthood is not just a "women's health" organization, they're an abortion mill funded by your tax dollars.  PP's reputation took a beating from which it won't recover.
• Every year $363 million dollars of your tax money is given to the group. That's roughly equivalent to $1 for every man, woman and child, legal or illegal, in the country today.
• The Dem Party is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Planned Parenthood. Some of those tax dollars flow right back to the Dems in the form of campaign donations...to ensure more tax dollars in the future.
• The Dems were willing to shut down the government  and deny paychecks to our fighting forces to protect this gravy train.
• The next battle over funding for Planned Parenthood will begin with both the Dems and PP in a weakened position.

Bottom line, whether PP is aborting our future or just making bowling balls, why do they get federal funding? There is no reason for it other than the Dem's slavish devotion to abortion. 

Rush Limbaugh has often described abortion as a "sacrament" of the left.  The debate this week would seem to validate his rhetorical point.
