The old saying goes if you don't toot your own horn it might not get tooted. So here goes.
When the quartet goes out I often get questions from people who want to know which of the group's albums have the most bass singing on them. People still like to hear men sing like men, I guess, especially since Christian music has been so effectively neutered in the last 20 years or so. If you want to hear men sing like girls, you can go to church just about any Sunday and sing praise choruses.
So, after years of getting those questions I decided to go back through 19 years of Crimson River Quartet recordings and collect all the songs that had bass features on them and put them on one CD. That CD is now available through our Digital Store for $11.99 for downloads or $14.99 for physical CDs (plus shipping/tax).
There's a mix of hymns, Southern Gospel favorites, live and studio recordings - 20 songs in all - on this one CD. Might make someone a nice Father's Day gift (me if nobody else).
