Angels Baseball Team Diverted to Their Namesake City

A little excitement for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim:
A Delta charter plane with the Los Angeles Angels baseball team onboard made an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday night.

The Boeing 737 was flying from Kansas City to John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana.

It began experiencing hydraulic problems, and was diverted to LAX, according to Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor.

Los Angeles Angels announcer Victor Rojas tweeted that the team was on the plane.

The flight touched down safely.
If they insist on calling themselves the Los Angeles Angels, they should just stay there.
