After Saturday's Camping World Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway, word spread that Richard Childress and Kyle Busch were involved in an altercation in the garage after Busch and Childress driverJoey Coulter battled for fifth place late in the race.Childress is one of the most respected car owners in the NASCAR garage and the former owner of Dale Earnhardt's #3 car. If Childress took on Kyle Busch, Childress won't have to buy a drink for a long, long time. Lots of people would love to have had tickets to that match.
Speed pit reporter Ray Dunlap tweeted that Childress "put a whipping" on Busch after the race.Hot news from the track. Grandpa Childress put a whipping on Kyle Busch in the truck garage. Look for big sun glasses on kubu sun.Shortly thereafter, SPEED Center, SPEED's racing recap show, posted this on Facebook:CHILDRESS vs. KYLE BUSCH: multiple witnesses tell SPEED there was a physical confrontation between Richard Childress and Kyle Busch after today's NASCAR Truck Series raceNASCAR spokesman Kerry Tharp said that the sanctioning body was looking into reports of the altercation.Busch was battling Childress driver Joey Coulter for fifth place late in the O'Reilly Auto Parts 250. The racing seemed clean as Coulter and Busch didn't make contact as they were side by side, but Busch gave Coulter a door slam after the race, potentially sparking what has been reported.
Busch acts as though it's the responsibility of every other driver to simply get out of his way when he gets near. If all Coulter did was race him hard, then Busch probably deserves a good whipping.
UPDATE: It gets better (from NASCAR.com):
Later, Jeff Gluck of SB Nation reported, "Kyle Busch was put into a headlock and punched several times by famed team owner Richard Childress before falling to the ground, according to several people with direct knowledge of an altercation ..."UPDATE: Childress punished. Forced to walk around the garage area shaking hands with everyone who wished they could do what he did.
UPDATE: Childress fined $150,000 plus probation.

Where's the line to buy Richard a drink,,,, Whoo, hoooo.....
Hilarious! Love it.
A couple weeks ago I saw a headline about a NASCAR driver ticketed for driving about three times the speed limit. I knew before I read the story it would be Kyle Busch...and it was. He needs to go somewhere and grow up before he hurts someone, on or off the track.
Best wishes,
Laura
It's about time.
Now, if NASCAR punishes Richard, I'm done watching.
Now if thepolice and nascar don't do anything with Richard Childress/RCR alot of people are going to quit watching this bull crap called Nascar,, because if KYLE BUSCH doesn't race or want to race there is no nascar,,the races will be so boring solong Nascar you are going down the drain ,,ps everybody wait and see it'll be a lot of lost jobs but Nascar deserve it...:)
PS....one more thing hey Kyle B. i hope you dig deep in Richard Childress pockets Deep...say 500 million lay suit,,,and if Nascar don't back ya , how about a 2 billion for the big Brain France family/Nascar...:)
Looks like somebody's a real Kyle fanatic. Me, I just can't get NASCAR--all the cars look alike to me in their sponsor-camouflage paint jobs.
That press conference look painful to Mike Helton, last time I seen him that sad was when Sr. was killed.....
