My friends in North Dakota are about to begin a flood odyssey which will likely last for several months. They're expecting that sirens will be sounding in Minot soon as dikes are breached by the rising river. Say Anything Blog is based in Minot and is carrying live feeds from the local news networks. The local police, fire and EMS radio feeds are available here.
It's hard to imagine how it must be to sit and watch a slow motion disaster overwhelm your city.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Be safe. Be Patient. Help will be there for you. The eyes of many Americans are watching and praying for you during this ordeal. You are not alone! The flood will subside, and although it is hard to imagine today, things will become normal, again, in time. Just remember, Never Ever Give Up!
