The first of the Summer 2011 anti-Israel Gaza flotilla ships have set sail from France. The two vessels left port in Corsica on Saturday, according to a Channel 2 news report.I heard yesterday that the idiot that runs Code Pink is planning to be on one of the boats. Is there any chance we could get a whole bunch more America-hating lefties to join the Flotilla? How about Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton? Most of the ladies of The View? Rosie O'Donnell, Bill Maher and Michael Moore? Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid? The entire cast of MSNBC?
Both headed for the coastal waters of Greece, where they are scheduled to meet up with the rest of the participants in the flotilla, dubbed "Freedom Flotilla II." Only six people were aboard one of the vessels.
The entire fleet will sail for Gaza next week, French coordinator Julien Rivoire told the AFP news agency.
The United States has warned American citizens who are determined to participate that they will face legal action from Israeli authorities. They may also face similar action from their own country as well, the State Department warned.
And then sink it?
Last time they tried this the Israelis dropped commandos on the flotilla ships and the soldiers were brutally attacked. Several were beaten, stabbed, and one was forced to hold his own intestines in after nearly being disemboweled by one of the "peace" activists. This time Prime Minister Netanyahu should give them no breaks whatsoever.
If I was him, I would inform these idiots that if they attempt to violate the naval blockade they'll fire exactly one warning shot. The next shot will be for effect with the goal being a flaming, sinking ship. Passive resistance won't save them. The Israelis don't need to waste any of their soldier's lives trying to board these ships. Put them on the bottom.
Stand tough, Bibi. You'll do us all a favor if you end this in a dramatic fashion.
