Wisconsin Supreme Court Upholds Union Reform Law

The wacky judge in the lower court that was just basically making stuff up has been swatted down by the Wisconsin Supremes:
Wisconsin's Republican governor has won a major victory: the state Supreme Court says his polarizing union rights law can go into effect.

Gov. Scott Walker pushed the law that eliminates most of public employees' collective bargaining rights and forces them to pay more for their health and pension benefits. He says it's needed for the state to address its budget problems.

The law passed in March after weeks of protests that drew tens of thousands of people to the state Capitol. But the law has been tied up in the courts since a Democrat filed a lawsuit accusing Republicans of violating the state open meetings law during the run-up to passage.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court said the judge had no authority to interfere with the legislative process.
Gov. Scott Walker issued this on Twitter:
The Supreme Court’s ruling provides our state the opportunity to move forward together and focus on getting Wisconsin working again.
A good day for Wisconsin and a good day for all those unionized teachers who won't be laid off now that the law has been upheld.

According to the liberal arguments, the Boy Scouts are intolerant, Christians are evil, there is nothing to fear from big government, but corporations create tyranny, more regulations on business create jobs, a weak military will lead to peace, high taxes guarantee prosperity for everyone, teachers' unions improve schools, social programs make people independent, and that collectivism will increase productivity.
