Gotta make a quick 1,000 mile round trip to Sacramento today and tomorrow for my son's transfer orientation at Sacramento State University. He and I are driving up early today and will spend the afternoon checking out the area around the campus to try and identify where the stores and things are that he'll need while he's there.
Tomorrow we have the orientation that runs from 8am to 4:30 pm, followed by a 500 mile drive home, so I don't expect we'll get back until after midnight. Whatever blogging there is will be via smartphone, and as I usually do when I'm on the road, comment moderation will be turned on to keep the trolls at bay.

Tell him to get a pan, go down to the river, and pan for gold. If he needs money during the school year, that's the only way he's gonna get it.
