Latest Medicaid Sting - Richmond, VA

James O'Keefe released this fourth video this week of Medicaid offices enabling people to commit fraud, this time in Virginia:
In the latest video, an undercover reporter attempts to apply for Medicaid benefits in Richmond, Virginia and several other offices in the Commonwealth.

The reporter indicates that he is a drug dealer who traffics in “Bob Marley pharmaceuticals.”

"But we won't get in trouble for running the drug business or like illegal prostitution?" asks man posing as drug dealer and owner of an $800,000 vehicle. The worker in Richmond responds, "No, just leave that off your application" and reiterates "Don't put that on there."
The videos from this current round of stings can be seen at the link.

It's becoming obvious that Medicaid officials are coached to qualify people for the program no matter what. Better to have names on the rolls and tax dollars going out than disqualify people attempting to commit fraud.
