In a small gated garden near the wedding chapel you'll find this monument to Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel, the mobster who built the first Flamingo with Chicago mob money and was murdered by them in his Beverly Hills home before it started making big bucks.
He is credited by many as being the founding visionary who created the modern Las Vegas.
Not that that did him any good.
