Here's part of the San Diego Naval Base with the Coronado Bay Bridge in the background. One os the ships is the USS Liberty, the only Naval ship to get a speeding ticket...from Canada.

I would appreciate it if you would recheck your identification of the ship as the USS Liberty.
The USS Liberty was attacked by the IDF on June 8, 1967 -- an attack that has never been investigated by the US government.
A few years after the attack the ship was sold for scrap.
