The fryers are heating up and the farm animals are settling in to their pens – it's time for the OC Fair.The 55 will be ugly, and when all those people realize they sat in that traffic and still couldn't make it to the gate in time to get in free there will more than Twinkies frying in Costa Mesa.
The fair will kick off at noon on Friday and will offer free admission for the first hour, which will be a welcome deal for the anticipated hundreds of people waiting in line to be the first into the fair.
