Football Star/Actor Bubba Smith Found Dead

Former NFL star and 'Police Academy' actor Bubba Smith was found dead Wednesday at his Baldwin Hills.

He was 66.

The cause of death has not officially been determined, but officials believe he died of natural causes.

Smith was found at his home on Sunlight Place by a caretaker, police said.

Smith spend 9 years in the NFL as a defensive end and tackle for the Baltimore Colts, Oakland Raiders and Houston Oilers.

He later had a career in Hollywood as movie and TV actor.

His is probably best know as an actor for his role as Moses Hightower in the 'Police Academy' movies.

I seem to remember him being in some of the early Lite Beer commercials too...back when they were funny.
