Our people just never learn. They get an offer to appear in a mainstream magazine and agree to take part in a photo shoot. The magazine then takes the picture they snapped at random that makes the person look the worst and runs that as the cover. This pattern has been repeated over and over.
This week's victim - Michele Bachmann. Here's what she looks like when someone who likes her takes her photo:

Note: Her focus was directed away from the camera lens and they didn't bother to do the normal airbrushing expected of a cover shot. The headline is pure liberal B.S.
I've taken publicity pictures for years as part of various quartets, and one thing I always insisted on is we never take a photo where we're not looking directly into the lens. Looking away gives you a weird look and it's no better for gospel singers than it is for politicians.
