Mad Maxine Waters: Why Isn't Obama Visiting Black Communities?

Rep. Mad Maxine Waters (D-CA) is expressing some disappointment in the president:

"We're supportive of the president, but we're getting tired. We're getting tired. So, what we want to do is, we want to give the president every opportunity to show -- to show what he can do and what he's prepared to lead on," Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) told a Congressional Black Caucus-sponsored gathering yesterday in Detroit.

"Our people are hurting," Waters added.

"We don't know why on this trip that he's in the United States now, he's not in any black communities. We don't know that," Waters said.

There are two possible reasons why Obama did not visit any black communities on this bus tour:

1. This was a campaign trip and Obama doesn't need to worry about the black vote.  He'll get 95%+ even if he re-institutes slavery.
2. The wheels on the new Greyhound One big black bus are really expensive and they can't afford to lose them.  Plus Greyhound One would look really dumb sitting on blocks in some dude's front yard.
