The Obama administration says health insurance plans must cover birth control for women with no copays.First of all, where does the administration get the idea they can not only order a private company to provide certain services, but they can demand they offer them for free? And how long until Obama orders them to provide abortions for free?
The requirement, affecting most insurance plans, is part of a broad expansion of women's preventive coverage. Breast pumps for nursing mothers, an annual "well woman" physical, counseling on how to avoid sexually transmitted diseases and other services will also be covered at no cost to the patient.
The new benefits won't take effect for at least another year, Jan. 1, 2013, in most cases. Insurers are expected to pass the cost on to their customers through slightly higher premiums.
Of course, he probably won't do that because that would kill Planned Parenthood, and they're almost a religious organization in Obama's eyes.

No. Planned Parenthood *IS* a religious organization. It follows the religion of Secular Humanism.
You make me think of a possible name for a front organization for PP: "Obama's Eyes." Gag me. . .
Why do birth control pills have to be free?
Why not a nominal $5 per month co-pay just like any other drug? I work at a clinic that use to charged $5 per month to students for birth control pills: a reasonable price and the girls were sure not to lose them. Of course the price to us went up to $20 per month and that got harder on students.
So why free? Now I have to totally subsidize someone else's sex life?
