Political Quote of the Day

From Roger Kimball:
Thank You, President Obama: “Just a couple of years in that big house in Washington and you and your spendthrift colleagues have managed to blight the most productive economy the world has ever seen. Thank you Mr. President! . . . In the space of two years, you have done more damage to this economy — which means the future not only of this country but the rest of what you would disdain to call the civilized world — than any President in history. You are a poor man’s Jimmy Carter, a midget Herbert Hoover, a disaster for this country and the world.”
Obama is setting a new standard for ineptitude.

I offered a few quotes of my own last night after the news of the credit downgrade came out:
The left will try to spin the downgrade as a reaction to no tax hikes in the debt bill. Nonsense. America has a spending problem.

Not at all. NO TAX HIKES FOR YOU!! RT @thinkprogress: S+P makes it harder for GOP to continue its cuts only approach....

Funny how that works.... RT @EWErickson: GOP in TX, IN, and FL get their states' credit ratings increased. Hmmm . . .

The lefties think the S&P report will force GOP to accept tax hikes. Two words: HELL NO!

Dear Congress: You grew the Fed govt to unsustainable levels. You may now dismantle it without one more dime of my tax money.
If you're not following me on Twitter, you really should.

If the president were just inept, that would be fixable. Problem is that he's not inept; he's following his plan to dismantle this country bit by bit. Is it all Obama's idea? No, I think he's getting his marching orders from the likes of George Soros.

Yep, Nightingale. . . It's not ineptitude, it's a plan, brilliantly and diabolically executed. George Soros and those of his ilk are behind it, I am convinced.

Now you know why I made my "ObamaSoros" comment earlier.

Counting the days to January 20, 2013. . . counting. . . (sigh)

God save us all, and the U. S. Supreme Court!
