Obama's Jobs Bill Promises to Throw More Money at Public Employee Unions

And we all know how well that worked in 2009.  This item from Guy Benson's report on the jobs bill caught my eye:
Direct aid to local governments will focus on stopping layoffs of teachers and first responders, Bloomberg said.
Once again Obama will funnel federal tax dollars to local employee unions to keep them from feeling the pain that the rest of America has felt in the Obama economy. It's also designed to keep local governments from enacting the tough reforms such as the ones Gov. Scott Walker in Wisconsin enacted. Those reforms saved the jobs of 1,500 Wisconsin teachers by making public employees responsible for a portion of the costs of their retirement and health care benefit packages. He completely turned the state budget around, erasing a significant deficit, saving jobs, and creating a surplus. That's the last thing Obama wants to see is a reform of the public employee union sector.

This is another payoff to Dem constituencies and must be rejected.
