Michael Mann and his peers at the Hadley Centre are responsible for siphoning enough money from the economy toward useless endeavors to make Bernie Madoff look like amateur-hour.
Compound that with local governments NOT investing in precautions for snowfall because "Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past", as Charles Onians wrote in The Independent in March 2000.
Environmentalists will say "...but their intentions were good." That'll be of no consolation to those who died waiting for ambulances stuck on blizzard-choked roads. Not enough snow plows to go around, but every university climatology program in North America and Europe has been funded to the hilt for decades.
Rick Moore is a life-long conservative, pretty darn good bass singer, and long time political junkie. He's been posting his commentary at HolyCoast.com since September, 2004.
