Carrying a sign in support of Occupy Orange County, Erin Lewis was at city plaza to support the younger generation of America.Ms. Lewis, don't be an idiot. I know it's hard, but try to use the brain God gave you.
"I'm sick and tired of the corporate greed in our country," the Fullerton mother of a 19-year-old son said. "There are lots of people who are a paycheck away from being homeless. The banks need to stop funding the corporations. They're supposed to help the people of the United States. I'm doing this for my son. I don't want him to live in a world that is so taxed that he can't survive."
Corporations don't set tax rates. Banks don't set tax rates. Taxes are set by politicians and the only politicians currently promoting a financial future with unsustainable tax rates are Democrats. Go march around in front of the Orange County Democrat Headquarters (200 N. Main Street, M Level, Santa Ana, CA 92701).
I doubt this movement will do much in Orange County. There are simply too many other things to do than worry about a bunch of marching losers.
