Unions Join #OccupyWallStreet Protest and Things Get Violent

Imagine that, union members creating a violent atmosphere:
The protests on Wall Street continue to grow. The rallies and their participants are showing no signs of slowing down. Wednesday evening, crowds surged and NYPD officers moved in to contain the protesters. By many accounts, mayhem broke out.

Officers used pepper pray on the crowd; Fox 5 photographer Roy Isen was hit in the eyes by the spray. Fox 5 reporter Dick Brennan was hit by what he believes was an officer's baton.

Cops arrested dozens of protesters.

Earlier, unions and students joined the demonstrators. What was once a protest of powerful Wall Street financial firms and banks is growing into a larger movement about the working class, employment, poverty, education, and more.
This is just going to get worse until people start dying at these things. Let's hope there an early blizzard in New York City to shut this thing down.

I like Herman Cain's comments on Hugh Hewitt to the protesters: Get a job.

Even if all the low income parts of our population were organized -all the blacks, Mexican-Americans, Puerto Ricans, Appalachian poor whites -if through some genius of organization they were all united in a coalition, it would not be powerful enough to get significant, basic, needed changes. It would have to do what all minority organizations, small nations, labor unions, political parties or anything small, must do -seek out allies.
