White House Furious That a Reporter Dares Cover Their Scandal

CBS News reporter Sharyl Attkisson has been just about the only mainstream media reporter looking in the "Fast and Furious" guns for Mexican drug lords scandal.  Radio talker Laura Ingraham interviewed the reporter and found that she's getting under the skin of the Obamites:
This morning, in the last hours before Fast and Furious detonated into a story that other media outlets can no longer ignore, radio host Laura Ingraham had an illuminating interview with Attkisson, who described some very… spirited interactions with the Justice Department and White House:

LAURA INGRAHAM: So they were literally screaming at you?
SHARYL ATTKISSON: Yes. Well the DOJ woman was just yelling at me. The guy from the White House on Friday night literally screamed at me and cussed at me.
INGRAHAM: Who was the person? Who was the person at Justice screaming?
ATTKISSON: Oh, the person screaming was [DOJ spokeswoman] Tracy Schmaler, she was yelling not screaming. And the person who screamed at me was Eric Schultz at the White House.
Ingraham wonders what happened to the Obama spirit of "transparency," although in all fairness, it sounds like Attkisson was exposed to some fairly transparent rage.
Attkisson’s popularity with the Obama Administration is not likely to increase any time soon.  She told Ingraham about their strained relationship:
They will tell you that I'm the only reporter--as they told me--that is not reasonable. They say the Washington Post is reasonable, the LA Times is reasonable, the New York Times is reasonable, I'm the only one who thinks this is a story, and they think I'm unfair and biased by pursuing it.
Imagine that, it is "reasonable" to ignore Obama scandals but unreasonable to report them.

The Obama Administration better start getting ready for a lot more unreasonableness.
