Feel Good Political Video of the Day

Thirty-one years ago today NBC calls the election for Ronald Reagan at 8:15 pm EST. I hadn't even gotten home from work yet when this call was made, and it wasn't long after this that Carter conceded and further cost is party seats in Congress because polls in the West would be open for another 2 hours or so:


Back then they had the colors correct - the Dems were red and the GOP blue. Four years later that was switched. Perhaps identifying liberals with red hit a little too close to home.
