A possible emergency is underway at the San Onofre nuclear plant Tuesday.At least if it blows I'll get to see the light show a few seconds before the shock wave destroys my neighborhood.
Officials say an emergency management center has been evacuated.
Local residents are being urged to monitor local media for updates.
A spokesperson said that at no time was the plant's safety compromised.
