The Santa Ana Wind Season Throws Out the First Brush Fire

Just hearing the various fire agencies in Orange County are dispatching to a brush fire in the area of Rose and Valencia in the Yorba Linda/Brea area.  Orange County Engine 35 reporting a large header (smoke column) rising from the area.  We're supposed to have high winds through the afternoon with very low humidity - the perfect environment for a rapidly spreading fire.  The fire dispatch frequencies can be heard here.
