Should a School Be Serving Japanese Food on Pearl Harbor Day?

Well, one does:
Today is the 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Many Americans will be marking the day with moments of silence and special ceremonies remembering those who were lost.

But students at the school where President Obama sends his daughters will be commemorating the day by eating Japanese food.

A lunch that will live in infamy declared the Washington Post.

Sidwell Friends School is a place where the one percent send their children to be educated. Tuition will set you back around $32,000 a year.

The menu today includes teriaki chicken, fried rice, and fortune cookies.

The school says their Pearl Harbor Day menu was completely coincidental.

Anyone else buying that?
After lunch they'll probably go to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum to spit on the Enola Gay.

Sidwell Friends School, where future generations of America haters are made.

I bet they'd pull pork off the menu on Ramadan.

Well fried rice and fortune cookies are Chinese. Since the Chinese were enslaved by the Japanese in WW2 it's probably appropriate. You need to get your cuisine right! But my guess it that elite school doesn't even know what Pearl Harbor day is.
