Suggestion to GOP Candidate: Promise to Revoke ALL Obamacare Waivers

I was reading an old post from Hot Air this morning about the AARP being granted one of the thousands of Obamacare waivers that have gone to political allies of Obama and other key Democrats (like all the folks in Nancy Pelosi's congressional district that got one), and an idea came to mind. Later this year the Supreme Court will take up the whole issue of Obamacare and we're all hoping they'll strike the whole mess down as unconstitutional (which I think it is).

However, the Supremes are not as predictable as I would like and there's always a chance that a big chunk of Obamacare could survive and we'll be stuck with it until a GOP president and congress can repeal it. Even that isn't a sure bet given the squishiness of the GOP, and the longer Obamacare is in effect the harder it will be to kill.

I'd love to see our candidate for president announce right up front that if any part of Obamacare survives the court challenge every single Obamacare waiver that was issued will be revoked on Day 1 and all those businesses, insurance companies, and other political cronies of Obama will be paying up like the rest of us. There should be a price to be paid by those who shilled for Obamacare while being excused from its consequences.

A little political retribution can be a good thing from time to time.
