The Union Civil War Over the Keystone XL Pipeline
Rob Bluey has an interesting piece on the budding civil war between unions that would have gained jobs from the Keystone XL pipeline project and are angry at Obama for vetoing it, and the unions with no stake in the project who say it's more important to get Obama reelected than to create union jobs. This is sort of like the Iran-Iraq war - a win-win for everybody. Read it all here.

Don't these union members read the NY Times?
“Preparations by Democratic operatives for the 2012 election make it clear for the first time that the party will explicitly abandon the white working class.”
NY Times, 11-27-2011
What part of “explicitly abandon the white working class” didn't they understand?
