Rapper K'Naan is upset that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney used his song "Wavin' Flag" during his Florida primary victory speech.First of all, I've never heard of this guy, but he's not the first to try and ban a Republican from using his music. Newt went through the same thing with another "artist".
In a statement, K'naan said Mr Romney's campaign did not seek approval to use the song and that he would not have granted permission if it had.
The Somali-born, Canadian-based rapper says he would happily grant President Barack Obama's campaign the use of the song.
For the record, if any GOP candidate wishes to use Crimson River Quartet music for their campaigns, have at it. Obama...not so much.

Does K'Naan have a legal leg to stand on, or is his objection just an excuse to propagandize? If there's nothing illegal about playing a song to a room of people that's broadcast on TV, then he should be told to go pound sand.
