President Barack Obama -- a vehement opponent of the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision -- is offering a reluctant blessing to his top bundlers to raise cash for his pet super PAC in a bid to kick-start sluggish fundraising for Priorities USA Action, according to three Democrats with knowledge of the decision.Of course this was the plan all along. He just had to make it appear that he was forced to do this.
The announcement will come during a conference call to members of his National Finance Committee scheduled for 10 p.m. CST, POLITICO has learned.
Top Obama campaign staff will appear at super PAC events, although the president himself will not.
But then, maybe he WAS forced to do this. In that case, this is very good news because it means his fundraising efforts are falling far behind. I don't think he's going to get to the billion dollars everybody thought he'd have for 2012.

A law that applies the same standards to everyone equally is offensive to the left's definition of 'fairness'.
Obama's problem with Citizens United is that there are no words to the effect of "as The Secretary shall determine" that allow him to pick winners and losers.
Favors n’ waivers baby. Favors n’ waivers.
