After igniting a controversy over women’s health by withdrawing its funding for Planned Parenthood earlier this year, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation has once again started funding the organization, The Washington Post reports.Planned Parenthood has no mammogram machines. They act as a referral service only, therefore this money will largely be going to support the ongoing abortion mill operations.
Approximately 17 Planned Parenthood affiliates will be funded this year, the same number that received grants last year, The Post reports.
The grants are for breast cancer screening and other breast-health services.
“We know that people have been upset and concerned about recent events,” Komen spokeswoman Leslie Aun told The Post. “We’ve acknowledged our missteps and apologized. People need to know that we have not and never will walk away from women in need."
I'm going to make it a habit to avoid anything tied to the Komen organization.

They didn't learn from last time, did they?
Shooting themselves in the foot, again
Never did like pink.
Planned Parenthood treats women terribly. I've heard the same story of incompassionate care from that bunch over and over again from my patients. If my patients need low-cost "women's" services, I steer them clear of Planned Parenthood.
Now I will steer clear of Komen too.
