Left Gets Upset When Ted Nugent Suggests Most People Cause Their Own Problems

Amazing the things that upset the left.  I saw this tweet from a lefty blogger:
@owillis: romney endorser ted nugent: "Poor people are poor because they make poor decisions.""
I added my own comment and sent it on:
@RickMoore: Very true in most cases. RT @owillis: romney endorser ted nugent: "Poor people are poor because they make poor decisions.""
To which I got this scintillating response from Mr. Willis:
@owillis: yeah, no.
Ok, so let's look at some typical causes of poverty:
  • Drug or alcohol abuse
  • Unwed pregnancy
  • Dropping out of/doing poorly in school
  • Lack of employable skills
  • Excessive credit abuse/living beyond your means
  • Laziness/sloth
  • Inability to hold a job due to performance/behavior issues
  • Criminal behavior
  • Dependency on others/government
  • Health issues
I'm sure we could add many more, but all of these reflect personal choices by the people involved except possible health issues, though there are certainly plenty of ways personal choices can screw up your health.  If you take your average poor person and look at their life chances are you're going to be able to check off one or more of those boxes.  If there's one thing that has been consistent about America, if you want to succeed and you do the things you need to do to reach your goals, you will succeed.  Nothing will hold you back.

Even if you live in an area particularly hard hit by economic woes, you don't have to stay there.  Refusing to move is just as much a personal choice as anything else.

The left wants every problem to be someone else's fault and every solution to come from the government.  That's the path to societal collapse.

Do you really believe the balls on this guy? We the people know what you really meant. When you said, “dead or in jail by this time next year." We the people are not as stupid, as your followers seem to be.
