“This whole thing with Obama saying the rich don’t pay their taxes is f###ing bulls###. And I voted for the guy and I’m a Democrat. What a f###ing a##hole,” Lovitz said.Normally I don't really care much what the Hollywood crowd has to say, but I think Lovitz is actually channeling pretty effectively what a lot of Americans think about the whole "tax the rich" deal going on with Obama. We all aspire to a more comfortable lifestyle and being rewarded for our efforts, but if once you get there your country suddenly holds you in disdain, that's not healthy for anybody and certainly doesn't help the nation's economic situation.
“The rich don’t pay their taxes? Let me tell you something, right,” he continued. “First they tell you–you’re dead broke–’This is the United States of America, you can do anything you want, go for it.’ So then you go for it, and then you make it, and everyone’s like, ‘F### you.’”
As long as the top 10% continue to pay 70% of income taxes, and almost 50% pay no income taxes, Obama can't make the argument the "rich aren't paying their fare share" with a straight face.

Lovitz needs to sit down and think about why he's a Democrat and not a Republican -because what he's complaining about isn't something the left just came up with yesterday, and it's not something only a few on the left have said, it is standard Democrat Party boilerplate.
Lovitz is probably for free abortion-on-demand, free healthcare, free college education, free everything, and thought the politicians he supported were going to get somebody else to pay for it all.
I wonder if Lovitz was still in character from the movie 'Big'.
Josh: What's this?
Scotty Brennen: Pay day.
Josh: [Opens up the envelope and looks at his check] A HUNDRED AND EIGHTY SEVEN DOLLARS?
Scotty Brennen: Yeah. They really screw you don't they?
