The Miss Universe Organization says it will allow transgender contestant Jenna Talackova to compete in the 2012 Miss Universe Canada pageant.Miss Universe has always been the beauty pageant for women with no discernible talent other than looks. They'll probably let him/her/it in to stop the lawsuits, but the judges will quietly be instructed to eliminate him/her/it in the early stages.
Talackova, a Vancouver native, was disqualified from the pageant last month.
According to Denis Davila, national director of Miss Universe Canada, the rules set by the Miss Universe franchise state that each contestant must be a "naturally born female."
Davila said Talackova claimed on her registration form she was born a female.
He said he suspected otherwise, and when he asked her about it, she admitted she was not.
