Three Interesting Elections Today

Three things to watch for in today's primary elections:

1. Six term Indiana Sen. Richard Lugar is likely to be ousted by a Tea Party favorite. Under Indiana law Lugar will not be able to run as an Independent, so his career will be over. I expect him to withhold an endorsement of the winner and could even change parties. He's in full aggrieved RINO mode.

2. The Wisconsin Union Thug-favored candidate in the Dem recall primary will likely lose, thus taking the wind out of unions sails in their futile effort to oust Gov. Scott Walker. Popcorn time.

3. North Carolina, home to the Dem Convention, may enact a gay marriage ban. If passed will activists demand the Dems move their convention? This could help explain the administration's sudden interest in gay marriage. Need more popcorn.

Ain't it great? I might need a bigger-screen TV to go with my recliner and popcorn!
