London and Glasgow Pulled Off by the Same Creeps

The cops in Britain are pretty much convinced that the car bombs found in London were planted by the same guys who tried to ram a car into the Glasgow airport:

Authorities suspect the two men who rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into Glasgow's airport on Saturday are the same people who parked two car bombs in central London a day earlier, security sources told CNN. ...

One of the suspects, who is in critical condition at Royal Alexandra Hospital near Glasgow, is a doctor at the hospital where he is being treated for severe burns, according to the woman who owns his rental house.

Let's hope for a long and excruciatingly painful recovery.

But wait, the terrorist was a doctor?

Two of the five terror suspects being held in the wake of the failed car bombings in London and Glasgow are hospital doctors working in the UK.

The majority of the five terror suspects being held in police custody in connection with bomb attacks in London and Glasgow are not British and at least one is still at large, according to Sky sources.

Sky sources believe one of the men arrested at Glasgow airport and a 26-year-old man arrested on the M6 with a 27-year-old woman in Cheshire are both doctors.

Sky Crime Reporter Martin Brunt said: "This is very far removed from the picture we normally have. These are professional people with highly paid jobs who are intent on killing people."

Is this the same British medical system praised by Michael Moore in his latest agitprop movie? I guess the Hippocratic Oath doesn't apply to Muslims.

UPDATE: The Scottish wags at the Daily Mash suggest that these exploding doctors didn't just try to blow up an airport, they violated Britain's new tough indoor smoking laws:
TWO men who drove a lit car into the main concourse at Glasgow Airport are to be charged under Scotland's tough anti-smoking laws. The attackers were caught on CCTV as they lit-up a four litre Jeep Cherokee and then allowed it to burn in an enclosed public place. Eyewitness Janice Bramble, 34, from Girvan, said: "Not only was the car emitting smoke but one of the men lit-up a petrol bomb right in front of me. "It's incredibly rude. Why I should have to go home with my clothes stinking of petrol bombs?" Scotland has some of the toughest anti-smoking laws in Europe with penalties including the cat o' nine tails, death by lions and a £50 fine...

UPDATE: I guess I've hit the big time. Raw Story linked to this post which also quotes Mark Steyn and Captain Ed, two of my favorite conservative bloggers. The post title is misleading - Conservative bloggers try to link Michael Moore to UK terror attempts . None of us three conservative heavyweights were trying to suggest that Moore has any connection to the bombings. We were all pointing out the irony that some of the bombers were doctors in Moore's much-loved British Health Care system. The lefties need to develop a sense of humor - they'll enjoy our postings so much more if they do.
