It's My Birthday and I'll Drive If I Want To

And drive I will - about 1,000 miles today. I'll be celebrating by going to Northern California, picking up my daughter from college, and driving her back home for Spring Break. We're leaving at 5am and probably won't be back home until 10pm or so.

My wife is riding shotgun all day with me. She didn't have to but would rather see the San Joaquin Valley and smell the cows than stay and work around the house. At least I'll have somebody to talk to (when she's not asleep, which is a lot of the time).

Don't look for a lot of posting today unless I send something via cellphone from the McDonald's in Buttonwillow.
