New Way Forward Fails

Yesterday was supposed to be the left's answer to next Wednesday's Tea Party Protests. Lefties were supposed to show up en masse to protest the evil capitalists and promote socialist causes, and they had hoped to capture the media attention away from the Tea Parties.

They held one of these events in San Francisco, home to all things lefty. Let's see how it turned out:
In front of the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank, a group of protesters gathered Saturday to voice anger towards the banks, believing their rampant greed destroyed the economy.

San Francisco and 46 other cities in the United States and Canada took part in mass protests to break up the power of the banks that caused the current financial crisis. The mass protests were organized by a group called A New Way Forward.

About a hundred people came to the Federal Reserve Bank to protest the collapse of the economy.

I wouldn't call 100 people a "mass protest". If that's the best they could do in home of socialism, they must have really tanked in other cities.

Well, I ran a photo last night of the Chicago protest (a few dozen folks), and Gateway Pundit has photos of the 13 or 14 people who showed up in St. Louis. Pretty sad.

Could it be that there aren't really as many people who believe that lefty crap as the media might have you think?

Let's see how many show up on Wednesday for the Tea Party events. Instapundit has more info on a number of Tea Party rallies that were held yesterday.
