Sarah Palin Headline of the Day

Watch the lefty's heads explode (from Hot Air):
Wow: Palin’s publisher boosts print run from 1.5 million to 2.5 million
No wonder she scares them so badly.

Meanwhile, the idiot father of her grandchild is being treated like the pariah he is...by the Hollywood crowd. Interesting. It looks like he's in minute 14:59 of his 15 minutes of fame.

I understand the anger/frustation about the circus that formed around the idiot father, but Rick don't let politics cloud your judgement on this. It is the story of the prodigal son being played on a large stage. Pray for the young man. He's already at the pig trough, but the Father is waiting for him with love.

I am reading Sarah Palin's book, started it yesterday. I bought it at first to add to the statistics, to show defiance to the elitism of the media culture and all that. I'd read enough of the political-memoir genre not to have much expectation that I would actually like the book though I still thought it was important to see what this woman says who is becoming so influential.

That was then, this is now. I am amazed! I find her book so inspiring. I love this book. It's been hard to put it down, though errands and necessities have interrupted my reading.

I want my daughter to read this book. It's a book "about Sarah Palin" and yet it's not about her. It's about all the life around her. She says next time "let me write about everybody else," yet that's exactly what she did! She has written about herself through the lives of her family, her community, her country.

I love this book. If you haven't read it yet, start! Like you I had had doubts whether Mrs. Palin was up to the job of president, but I have many fewer doubts now. Still, let us hold her to a high example. Let us do the opposite of what the other party did.

Whatever happens, whether she ends up in the White House or not, I tell you she is helping this country find its courage again. God bless her.

And pray for the young man -- his young life matters, pray that he finds his life again.

This poor kid acts like an immature 13 year old child. He has fathered a baby, yet he shows he isn't ready for the grown up world, what a waste both for him, the baby and the babies mother. Hopefully he will wake up soon to the real world and take some responsability.
