If Republicans regain control of the House in November, some have vowed to launch investigations into controversies that Democrats have tried to ignore, including the New Black Panther voter intimidation case and the activities of the community activist group ACORN.While I agree that those things need to be investigated, promising some sort of jihad against the administration is not a good electoral strategy. We really don't need to be talking about this stuff, especially if we think it's a reason that voters might decide to go Republican instead of Democrat. Most independent voters don't want to see Congress and the administration tied up in all kinds of investigations and frankly I think talking about this stuff will just turn them off.
"It's very clear that House Republicans are going to use their oversight powers when they elected. There's no question about it," said GOP strategist Ron Bonjean who is a former Capitol Hill aide.
Let's win the election first.

Indeed.
And they are so obvious that they don't need saying.
Yes. Win the election. Talk about this later.
