A man trying to catch a glimpse of the Geminid meteor shower ending up driving his Mustang off a cliff in the Angeles National Forest, officials said Wednesday.I'll bet he needed a shower after that one.
A helicopter search team rescued the man, who plunged 100 feet off a hill at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on Glendora Mountain Road at mile marker 10, according to the California Highway Patrol.
After rescue workers reached him, the man was able to walk away with minor injuries, officials said.
