Kerry Pollster Preparing for Defeat

Pollsters need credibility in order to get hired to work in future elections. Mark Mellman, a major Democratic pollster who worked for Kerry this year, has basically conceded the election to Bush. The key line:

First, we simply do not defeat an incumbent president in wartime. After wars surely, but never in their midst. Republicans have been spinning this fact for months, and they are correct.
