Shots rang out across the city Saturday night and Sunday morning -- from the Far North Side to the Far South Side -- with preliminary reports of nearly two dozen people shot.
The overnight tally -- which is unofficial -- included two shootings on the same corner...
To paraphrase Sen. Dick Durbin: "If I read this to you and did not tell you that it was a Chicago newspaper report describing what Illinois citizens had done to each other, you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime--Pol Pot or others--that had no concern for human beings. Sadly, that is not the case. This was the action of Chicagoans madly shooting one another".
Looks like the good Senators home-state folks are exhibiting some ugly traits. Perhaps a speech on the floor of the Senate would be in order.
Sounds to me like we better pull our forces out of Chicago because we're clearly losing.
