Today is the 36th anniversary of the drunk driving accident of Sen. Teddy *hiccup* Kennedy that killed a young campaign worker. The voters of Massachusetts have returned the corpulent Kennedy to the Senate in six straight elections since then (why should we be surprised - after all these are the same people that have elected John Kerry several times).
Mary Jo Kopechne could not be reached to see how she voted.
